Hi to all our users, our goal for justlakes.ca was to create a website for folks that are buying and selling lake properties that is simple to use, efficient and cost effective whether the sale is by owner or listed with a Real Estate Broker. We started with about 10 lake listings in the fall of 2018 and have over 450 postings at the current time representing over 50 lakes, which grows over the summer months.

We have made it through covid, forest fires, and a few growing pains along the way but are confident we are providing a great service to our clientele. Canadians are choosing “staycations” and cottage living as alternatives to the upheaval outside of the country. We are working hard to attract new users to site and are making a number of additional options as enhancements.

We are launching the garage sale to sell your lake items for free, campers, canoes, lawn furniture etc.; and will be expanding our site to include vacation rentals in addition to lake property sales. A number of clients have asked if they can post their lake rental property on-site and we will be launching the new vacation rental program in the fall of 2026 to do that simply, efficiently and economically.

We have also added a more cost effective option to sell your recreational vehicle onsite at a leased or rented RV lot, selling the unit and improvements to your seasonal lot for an annual posting fee of only $249. Plus GST.

For business advertisers we have added the ability to add your business card directly to specific lake listing pages starting at just $69. per year for one lake, and options to advertise at multiple lakes. This is in addition to our large and medium size web ads that capture a provincial clientele.

We will continue to grow and improve providing excellent options to our Saskatchewan users; and are actively expanding to Manitoba and Alberta to provide services in those provinces.
