The area has things to do all seasons!!

Not only is it a haven in the summer months for fun and relaxation but this all-season property is ideal for hiking, jogging, biking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and ATV’s year round. It is quite popular for ice fishing and usually someone is out trying their luck. The Canwood Sno Blazers have a groomed trail that crosses the creek at the south end of the lake. This trail runs south to the Canwood Provincial Forest and North to the Sturgeon River and to a warm up structure nestled in the south facing bank. The river system and the Cookson pasture offer miles of adventure that you will never tire of. Watch closely to see the wild buffalo, moose or elk and be certain the mysterious timber wolf will be not far away. 

The Canwood Regional Park Golf course is Saskatchewan’s newest grass green 9 hole course. Construction has completed and greens are ready to play.
